On March 7, 2019, Sheon (Kim Suyeon) was revealed as an A Team Entertainment trainee and a member of the pre-debut girl group ISE (now BugAboo).

In August 2021, she was announced as a contestant on Mnet's reality-survival show Girls Planet 999, where she represented MYSTIC Story. She ranked 10th overall in the finale episode, thus being unable to debut with Kep1er.

On October 26, MYSTIC Story revealed they were "positively evaluating" the addition of Suyeon to Billlie. on November 18, MYSTIC Story announced her addition to the group under the stage name Sheon.

Sheon's first musicial contribution to the group came on December 14 with the release of the digital single "The Collective Soul and Unconscious: Snowy Night."

On February 11, 2022, Sheon graduated from Hanlim Multi Arts High School, where she had been a student of the Applied Music Department.

She’s been a trainee for approximately three years.
