The drama is also available on Hulu for U.S. audiences and on Genie TV for South Korean viewers.
Plot Overview
Do Ji-ui, a plastic surgeon at a university hospital, resigns to work as a public health doctor, which counts toward his mandatory military service. Haunted by deep trauma involving the sea, he hopes to avoid an island posting but finds himself assigned to Pyeondongdo, a remote island that every public health doctor wants to avoid. The isolation presents more than geographical challenges. From his first day, strange and unsettling events begin to unfold around the island's health center.
On Pyeondongdo, Ji-ui meets Yuk Ha-ri, a nurse who left a mainland university hospital to work at the island's public health center. Beneath her gentle demeanor and warm smile, she hides a secret past. Strangely, she appears at Ji-ui's side whenever his fear overwhelms him. As the only medical professionals the residents can rely on, the two navigate life-threatening emergencies, difficult patients, and the emotional burden of serving a forgotten community surrounded by the sea.
The island initially appears peaceful, but Ji-ui soon discovers nonstop crises and unpredictable residents who reshape his perspective. Through caring for the islanders and listening to their stories, he begins to understand Ha-ri's pain and discovers compassion he didn't know he possessed. The series explores whether a man trapped by his past and a woman desperate to escape her present can find love and healing in their shared isolation.
Cast and Crew
Lee Myung-woo directs the series, with Kim Ji-soo handling the screenplay adaptation. Lee Jae-wook stars as Do Ji-ui, the former plastic surgeon who gradually overcomes his aversion to island life through his work treating local residents. Her character moves from a university hospital to the public health center, and beneath her gentle exterior, she harbors secrets that connect to her past. The supporting cast includes Hong Min-gi as Hyun Chi-yeon, a fellow public health doctor who develops an unspoken rivalry with Ji-ui over Ha-ri.
Lee Soo-kyung portrays Uhm Jeong-seon, a Pyeondongdo native working as a nurse in the Oriental Medicine Department. Her deep connection to the island may help uncover some of its mysteries. Kim Yoon-woo plays Yong Joo-cheon, a traditional Korean medicine doctor serving the island's residents. Additional cast members include Joo In-young as Hwang Shin-hye, an experienced nurse who has worked at the Pyeondongdo Health Center for 15 years, Lee Yoon-mi as Hong Geum-ja, owner of the Imokase Sashimi Restaurant, and Jung Ae-yeon in an undisclosed role.

Teach You a Lesson - Netflix
Where to Watch
Based on the Naver webtoon "Get Schooled" by Chae Yong-taek and Han Ga-ram, this action school drama released exclusively on Netflix on June 5, 2026. The series streams as a limited series across Netflix's global platform.
Plot Overview
The Educational Rights Protection Bureau (ERPB) operates as a fictional government agency created to protect victims of bullying and restore order when students, teachers, or parents cross boundaries. Unlike typical school interventions, the bureau holds legal authority to use any form of measure, including physical force and psychological pressure, to discipline students and reform the school system.
ERPB inspector Na Hwa-jin receives dispatch orders to various educational institutions where he dismantles hierarchies established by delinquent students and addresses administrative corruption. Recruited after serving in a highly secretive, specialized sector of the military, Hwa-jin brings an unshakeable ease and serious combat skills to his role as the agency's most valuable asset. Accompanied by investigator Im Han-rim and officer Bong Geun-dae, he utilizes state-sanctioned immunity to neutralize school gangs and restore order.
The situations handled by the ERPB extend beyond basic schoolyard conflicts. Cases involve serious psychological and physical abuse with devastating consequences. Each case presents different challenges, from spoiled children of powerful politicians to elite school conspiracies, teen influencers spreading false claims, and exploitative school gangs operating with impunity.
The series achieved strong global and local success, ranking in Netflix's Top 10 in over 85 countries, including major markets such as the United States, Japan, India, Canada, South Korea, Australia, and the Philippines. In South Korea, lead actor Kim Mu-yeol topped cast rankings, whereas the series itself placed No. 2 in TV-OTT drama buzz during its debut week. The show recorded an opening-week buzz score of 54,881, the highest for any Netflix original in 2026.
Cast and Crew
Hong Jong-chan directs the series, reuniting with actors Kim Mu-yeol and Lee Sung-min after their collaboration on "Juvenile Justice" (2022). Lee Nam-kyu, Kim Da-hee, and Moon Jong-ho serve as writers.
Kim Mu-yeol stars as Na Hwa-jin, the former military operative who now works as an ERPB inspector restoring justice to bullying victims. Lee Sung-min portrays Choi Gang-seok, the minister of education and ERPB founder who employs an exceptionally skilled team of special agents and remains fiercely committed to protecting students.
Jin Ki-joo plays Im Han-rim, another former military operative who takes pleasure in her inspector role. Described as the team's loose cannon, she uses any intimidation techniques she deems appropriate to keep bullies in line. Pyo Ji-hoon (P.O) appears as Bong Geun-dae, the ERPB's deputy director who functions more as tech specialist than muscle, frequently going undercover for operations.
Supporting cast includes Kim Jong-soo as Assemblyman Hwang Gi-tae and Lee Bong-joon as Cho Gyu-cheol, a student at Ga Yun.

Where to Watch
Netflix confirmed Agent Kim Reactivated will simulcast internationally, with the first episode releasing on June 27, 2026. Plot Overview
Adapted from the Naver webtoon Manager Kim by Jeong Jong-taek and Toy, this revenge thriller follows Kim Do-hyeon, known as Manager Kim, a former covert operative who worked between North and South Korea. After retiring to fulfill his late wife's wishes, he lives as an ordinary employee at a small savings bank and raises his daughter Min-ji as a single father. His existence in South Korea functions as a time bomb that should not be revealed, especially since North Korea lists him on their most wanted blacklist.
His carefully constructed quiet life shatters when Min-ji suddenly disappears. After discovering his daughter was kidnapped, Kim becomes merciless in his search for information. He utilizes his past combat training and elite skills to rescue her, not hesitating to reveal the secret identity he worked so hard to hide. His sudden activity draws attention from the National Special Missions Bureau. Media and production sources have frequently compared the premise to the Hollywood film Taken.
During his search, Kim aligns with two other fathers who share his background as former operatives: Seong Han-su, a highly skilled former secret agent and Taekwondo gold medalist who now runs a martial arts dojang for children, and Park Jin-cheol, a former elite combat veteran once referred to as a "god of war". The trio faces opposition from construction executive Joo Gang-chan, who relies on wealth and violence to achieve his goals.
