Park Sohyun's early life and pre-debut activities

Dance background and competitions

Park Sohyun attended Seoul Songpa Elementary School and Bangi Middle School before graduating from Youngpa Girls' High School. She is currently enrolled at Dong Seoul University's Department of Applied Music with a major in Composition. During her elementary school years, she became a K-pop fan, memorizing choreography from groups including B1A4, INFINITE, SISTAR, and Secret. Her dance education progressed significantly when she joined the dance department at middle school, where she took extracurricular classes from renowned instructors including Mmary, Bada, and Redlic. She participated in numerous dance competitions and won first place in a monthly online JYP Entertainment audition in 2018. Besides her dance pursuits, she entered a songwriting contest during high school and placed third. In 2016, while in seventh grade, she appeared as an extra in TWICE's "CHEER UP" music video with her dance academy. She later served as a backup dancer for MOMOLAND's MMA 2019 performance.

Solo music career as Autumn Han

Between 2020 and 2022, Park Sohyun uploaded self-produced tracks to SoundCloud under multiple aliases including Han Gaeul, hene, and Autumn Han. She was credited with music production for all compositions while maintaining her studies and working multiple part-time jobs simultaneously. The track "Like A Dumb" featured vocals by Bae Soyoon rather than her own.

Joining and leaving MODHAUS

Park Sohyun was scouted while meeting with an acting company and became the first trainee signed to MODHAUS after several discussions with Jaden Jeong. She withdrew as a trainee after experiencing health and personal problems and returned to her education. Had she remained with the company initially, she would likely have become S1 instead of SeoYeon.

Park Sohyun's role as a producer in tripleS

Songs written and produced

Jaden Jeong recognized Park Sohyun's songwriting abilities in her debut teaser. Her first contribution to tripleS was "Deja-Vu" for +(KR)ystal Eyes, which she composed, arranged, and wrote lyrics for. She has since contributed to numerous tracks including "Black Soul Dress" for LOVElution, "White Soul Sneakers", "Persona", and "Sleek" for tripleS full group releases. Her production work extends beyond tripleS to labelmate ARTMS, writing lyrics for "Je Ne Sais Quoi" from ODD EYE CIRCLE's Version Up and "Nokia" from HeeJin's solo mini-album K.

Lyric writing themes and member references

Park Sohyun frequently uses fellow members as references when writing songs. She has composed songs inspired by Seo Dahyun (punk rock genre), Nien (lively and cute style), and Shinwi (moody song). Her lyrical work depicts stories of girls' growth through different stages: "Black Soul Dress" explores instinctive responses to sadness, "Moto Princess" addresses acknowledging honest emotions, "White Soul Sneakers" represents approaching reality over dreams, "Vision" traces development from passive to independent woman, and "Persona" embodies courage in accepting one's persona.

Vocal directing and coaching

Park Sohyun serves as vocal coach and vocal director for other members, particularly during recording sessions. She personally directed the recording of all tripleS songs in which she participated, except "Deja-Vu" and "Moto Princess".

Part distribution and creative input

Part distribution is typically handled by the A&R team, but Park Sohyun provides input based on her envisioned image for each song. She distributed parts herself for "Persona" and "Diablo". For "White Soul Sneakers", she suggested Jiyeon receive the introduction part as it matched her envisioned image.

Park Sohyun's positions and performance skills

Dance abilities and choreography creation

As a member of tripleS, Park Sohyun holds responsibility for dance breaks within the group's performances. She is one of eight members assigned to the dance break section of "Girls Never Die". Owing to her capability in creating choreography, she collaborated with Kim Na-kyung to develop the choreography for "Too Hot" at the A Live 25 concert.

Vocal range and live performance

While primarily assigned rap and dance break parts, Park Sohyun possesses notable vocal skills that remain partially hidden due to her role distribution. Her pitch stability during live performances is particularly stable. The vocal range is not high due to her low voice, but the vocalization is well-defined with a comfortable and attractive tone characterized by her unique low-pitched voice. She mainly takes on parts that provide variations, stably supporting the overall feel of songs.

Stage presence and visual style

In October 2024, Park Sohyun joined the Visionary Vision 12-member unit and adopted a shorter hairstyle alongside eleven other members. This transformation prompted strong reactions from WAV and viewers, who described her appearance as "handsome" and "cool" with fresh shock. The styling effectively captured the "boy" concept of the Visionary Vision unit, leading netizens to mistake her for a male idol group member. In particular, on October 27, she performed as the ending fairy on the SBS Inkigayo music broadcast stage, becoming a topic of discussion for her good-looking aura.

In August 2025, MODHAUS announced that she would temporarily halt scheduled activities following medical advice requiring sufficient rest. Accordingly, she was absent from fansign events and other commitments during this period.
