tripleS Members
What are tripleS Members?
tripleS members are the 24 individual performers comprising the girl group tripleS, which operates under MODHAUS entertainment company. The members function within a rotating system where they alternate between full group activities, sub-unit formations, and solo promotions based on fan-driven voting mechanisms.
The operational structure distinguishes tripleS members through a fan participation model utilizing NFT photo cards called "Objekts," which enable fans to vote members into specific groups and areas of work. This system creates a dynamic framework where each member's role within the group continuously evolves rather than remaining fixed to predetermined positions or units. Members can be assigned to different sub-units across various promotional seasons, known as "Dimensions," based on changing concepts and fan decisions.
The group identifies itself as "the idol of all possibilities" and represents the world's first decentralized K-pop idol group. tripleS, also known as SSS or Social Sonyo Seoul, translates to "Social Girls living in Seoul". The members possess a special conceptual ability designated as 'S,' which they demonstrate through their various dimensional formations.
The member introduction process began through a pre-debut project launched in April 2022, with the first member, Yoon SeoYeon, revealed on May 1, 2022. Over the following two years, members were periodically revealed to the public. The group made its official debut on February 13, 2023, with ten members releasing the mini album ASSEMBLE. The complete 24-member lineup achieved their first full group debut on May 8, 2024, with the album ASSEMBLE24. Notably, the final member was revealed exactly two years after the initial tripleS introduction video, marking the conclusion of the extended pre-debut project.
The members reside in four separate dormitories referred to as "HAUS" due to the substantial group size. The group's fandom carries the official name WAV, representing the supporters who participate in the member voting and selection processes.
How many members are in tripleS?
tripleS comprises 24 members, making it one of the largest active girl groups in the K-pop industry. The group achieved this final roster through a phased member revelation process spanning two years, beginning with the first member announcement in May 2022 and concluding with the completion of the lineup in April 2024.
The group's expansion followed a strategic timeline. tripleS initially debuted with ten members on February 13, 2023, releasing the mini album ASSEMBLE. This first configuration sold approximately 55,000 copies worldwide, according to South Korea's Circle Charts. The remaining fourteen members were gradually introduced to the public through subsequent announcements, with notable reveals occurring in late 2023 when the 17th through 20th members joined the lineup between December 21 and December 24.
The final four members to complete the 24-member configuration were Kim Chae-won, Sullin, Jeong Hae-rin, and Ji Suh-yeon, announced starting April 1. This completion enabled the full ensemble to make their official OT24 debut on May 8, 2024, with the album ASSEMBLE24. The expansion demonstrated measurable commercial impact, as ASSEMBLE24 sold more than 211,000 copies worldwide. The growth trajectory continued with ASSEMBLE25, released in May 2025, which sold over 407,000 units.
Beyond the main group formation, tripleS operates thirteen official sub-units: Acid Angel from Asia, +(KR)ystal Eyes, LOVElution, EVOLution, NXT, Aria, Glow, Visionary Vision, ∞!, Moon, Sun, Neptune, and Zenith. The group additionally maintains one collaborative sub-unit called ACID EYES, formed by combining members from both Acid Angel from Asia and +(KR)ystal Eyes.
The 24-member structure represents both a logistical challenge and a commercial achievement. Management acknowledged initial concerns about execution feasibility, particularly before the release of "Girls Never Die," the title track for ASSEMBLE24, which validated the viability of operating such a large-scale group formation. The members are distributed across multiple dormitories to accommodate the substantial group size, with each residence identified as a "HAUS" within the organizational structure.

tripleS Members Positions and Colors
tripleS operates with minimal official position designations within its organizational structure, maintaining only one confirmed main vocalist role while other positions remain largely unofficial. This approach aligns with the group's philosophy of avoiding expressions that establish hierarchical skill rankings between performers.
Main Vocalists
Seo DaHyun (S10) holds the singular official main vocalist position within the formation. Members and fans refer to DaHyun as "the Memay Vocal" due to the substantial proportion of vocal parts allocated to her across group releases. Her vocal characteristics include rich volume, wide range, and stability that distinguishes her from other vocalists. Additionally, Lee JiWoo (S3), Kaede (S9), and Park ShiOn (S20) receive recognition as main vocal-level performers within fan communities.
Main Dancers
Seven members received official main dancer designations through unit activities and complete group performances. Jung HyeRin (S2), Kim NaKyoung (S7), Kaede (S9), and Lynn (S17) function in these capacities. These performers handled the dance break segment in "Hit the Floor" from the Visionary Vision unit. The dance line composition reflects diverse skill sets, with YuBin, Kaede, and HyeRin identified through member interviews, while NaKyoung positions herself as an all-rounder and SoHyun contributes choreography expertise.
Main Rappers
Six members handle rap components across releases. Kim NaKyoung (S7), Kotone (S11), Park SoHyun (S14), Nien (S13), Lynn (S17), and Jung HaYeon (S19) perform rap sections. NaKyoung and Kotone function as unquestioned main rappers when assigned to units, while Nien demonstrated rap abilities through 2 SIGNAL episodes.
Member Color System
Each performer receives a designated representative color extracted from COSMO application statistics and anniversary Objekt releases. The colors range across the spectrum: SeoYeon uses Dodger Blue (#22AEFF), HyeRin operates with Crocus Purple (#9200FF), and JiWoo identifies with Lemon Yellow (#FFF800). This color coding system extends through merchandise, digital assets, and visual materials, functioning as individual member identification markers within the 24-person configuration.
tripleS Sub-units and Member Lineups
The sub-unit framework enables rotational configurations through fan-driven voting events called "Gravities," where supporters select member lineups using COMO currency collected via Objekt NFT purchases.
Acid Angel from Asia
Acid Angel from Asia launched as the inaugural sub-unit on October 28, 2022, comprising Kim YooYeon, Kim NaKyoung, Gong YuBin, and Jeong HyeRin. Fan voting between September 22-25 determined the lineup through the First Grand Gravity event. The quartet released the extended play Access with lead single "Generation," which peaked at number 10 on the Bugs Chart. The unit's concept centered on rebellious Generation Z youth culture with dark angel imagery.
+(KR)ystal Eyes
The second sub-unit debuted May 4, 2023, featuring Yoon SeoYeon, Lee JiWoo, Kim ChaeYeon, and Kim SooMin. Their mini album Aesthetic sold 54,866 copies in its first week. Music show appearances faced restrictions from external forces, halting planned promotional activities. The unit presented a high-teen, refreshing concept contrasting with Acid Angel from Asia's darker portrayal.
LOVElution and EVOLution
Two eight-member units formed simultaneously through the Second Grand Gravity in April 2023. LOVElution debuted August 17, 2023, with members SeoYeon, HyeRin, YuBin, Kaede, DaHyun, Nien, SoHyun, and Xinyu. FAQS
Objekts represent digital photocards that supporters collect through the Cosmo application, functioning as the primary mechanism for fan participation in group decisions. Fans acquire Objekts through physical purchases or direct app transactions, with each digital version carrying equal probability distribution across different cards. Physical Objekts can be converted into digital collection items by scanning them within the Cosmo interface. The system operates across six distinct classification levels: Welcome Class Objekt (WCO), Zero Class Objekt (ZCO), First Class Objekt (FCO), Double Class Objekt (DCO), Special Class Objekt (SCO), and Premier Class Objekt (PCO). Each Objekt generates at least one Como token, which serves as voting currency in Gravity events.
Seasons define operational periods between group comebacks, with each season introducing new Objekt collections and content activities. The timeline includes ATOM 01 (May 9, 2022 to February 13, 2023), BINARY 01 (February 13, 2023 to October 11, 2023), CREAM 01 (October 11, 2023 to May 8, 2024), DIVINE 01 (May 8, 2024 to November 11, 2024), EVER 01 (November 11, 2024 to May 6, 2025), ATOM 02 (May 6, 2025 to November 13, 2025), and BINARY 02 (November 13, 2025 onwards). Objekts from concluded seasons become unavailable for purchase through the application.
Gravity operates as the blockchain-connected voting mechanism where fans utilize Como tokens to determine sub-unit lineups, performance stages, and group decisions. One Como equals one vote, enabling multiple vote casting per supporter. The blockchain integration ensures voting transparency and prevents result manipulation. Twenty-one Gravity events have been conducted.
Logistical operations require four separate dormitories for member housing, eight to nine vehicles for transportation, and approximately eight hours to complete hair, makeup, and styling for full group activities. Recording sessions for 24-member releases involve three simultaneous studios with rotating member schedules to maximize time efficiency.
