Birth and Family

Born in Jamwon-dong, Seocho District, Seoul, South Korea, on October 24, 2005, Lee Ji Woo grew up in an affluent area of the capital. Her family consists of her parents and a younger brother born in 2007.

Education

Jiwoo attended Seoul Shindong Elementary School and continued to Shindong Middle School before graduating from Apgujeong High School in 2024. During her elementary school years, she consistently held class president positions. She later served as president of the musical club during high school. Following graduation, Lee enrolled at Dongguk University in the Department of Theatre.

Ice Hockey to K-pop

Jiwoo initially served as the teaser model for MBC's survival show My Teenage Girl. Subsequently, she joined the competition as a contestant and was officially revealed on September 14, 2021. During the show, mentor Kwon Yu-ri described Jiwoo as an all-rounder member capable of making the team shine on stage while displaying her own abilities. Jiwoo progressed through multiple elimination rounds until episode 11, where she was eliminated on February 20, 2022, finishing in 18th place.

Joining MODHAUS and tripleS Debut

Following her run on My Teenage Girl, Jiwoo joined MODHAUS, presumably in March 2022. She was officially revealed as the third member of tripleS, designated S3, on June 1, 2022. +(KR)ystal Eyes

Jiwoo became a member of +(KR)ystal Eyes, the second sub-unit of tripleS, through fan voting on September 26, 2022. The quartet, comprising Yoon Seoyeon, Kim Chaeyeon, Jiwoo, and Kim Soomin, debuted on May 4, 2023, with the extended play Aesthetic. EVOLution

Jiwoo made her official acting debut on May 12, 2021, in the web-series I:LOVE:DM as the leading character. The drama consisted of seven episodes.
