Chae Joo Hwa (채주화; formerly known as Lime) is a singer, composer, choreographer, lyricist, dancer, actress, model and rapper. She is most popularly known as the main dancer, main rapper and main vocalist of South Korean girl group, Hello Venus.

Using the stage name Lime, she debuted as a member of HELLOVENUS on May 9, 2012 with the group's first mini album Venus.
2019: HELLOVENUS' disbandment, focus on acting
On April 26, 2019, Fantagio Music announced that HELLOVENUS would be disbanding after seven years. Additionally, they revealed Lime was still discussing renewing her contract with the agency.
On July 12, Fantagio revealed Lime had decided to renew her contract and would be continuing her activities as an actress under a new stage name, Chae Joo Hwa.

Lime attended Youngpa Girls High School. She has one older brother.
Relationship
On January 27, 2022, it was announced that she would be getting married in March. On March 20, Chae Joo Hwa announced her marriage to a non-celebrity husband.
Musical Career
Prior to Hello Venus, Lime was a trainee at Medialine Entertainment and was intended to debut in a girl group named "Viva Girls" which included several members including the likes of Nine Muses Kyungri, Dal Shabet's Woohee, Kiss&Cry's Soyumi and Stellar's Hyoeun. In the end, the group did not come to fruition and all members left the company.
She wrote the lyrics to Scotch V.I.P.'s "Finale"
She was a back-up dancer for Lee Chaeyeon
She helped write the lyrics to After School's "Time's Up!"

Trivia
Supposedly, Lime's name was initially going to be "Rhyme", for her musical aptitude. It was later abandoned in favor of "Lime", on the account of it sounding more appealing.
"Lime" is also a play on her real name, Hye-Lim.
She and her immediate junior, Yooyoung, consist Hello Venus' "Rap Line".
Her style has changed a lot. At first, she has short & curly (sometimes straight) hair & posses a look of a cute girl. Since the departure of 2 members of the group as well as the joining of 2 new members, she has longer hair & now posses a look of a more attractive & sexy girl.
However, when recording a brand new hit "Mysterious", she has her hair cut short.
Lime's hair has been dyed colors that are all of the spectrum belonging to Lime Green, which is Hello Venus' official color.
She, along with her immediate senior, Nara, and her immediate junior, Yooyoung, consist Hello Venus' "Dance Line."
She and her immediate senior, Yoonjo, make up LimeJo, Hello Venus' resident Tom and Jerry pairing.
Despite some controversy over the subject in the past, Lime is actually from Fantagio (by her own admission in a fancafe post) not Pledis.
