2012: Debut with Dalshabet

She debuted as a member of Dalshabet on January 6, 2011 with the group's first mini album Supa Dupa Diva.

2017–2021: New agencies, acting career

On December 14, 2017, Happyface Entertainment that Ahyoung would be leaving the agency after deciding not to renew her contract. However, she would not be leaving the group.

That same day, SidusHQ announced that Ah Young had signed on with the agency where she would be focusing on acting.

On July 15, 2021, iAA Entertainment revealed that Ah Young had signed on with them following her departure from SidusHQ.
